Transition
Interesting sky and cloud transition this evening looking west from the marsh. These photos were taken within a 20 minute time period.
Alright, I know what you all are thinking…Phil, those are ok enough sky photos but where’s the bird or alligator? Well you know I have to get in one egret sunset silhouette from tonight!

At first view on the last picture I noticed a long neck and an unusual bill and thought “strange crane”. Than my eyes moed to the left sight an recognized my fault.
If you look closely you can see the egret’s tongue in it’s partially open mouth.

Thanks very much! We had fun last night, but because I was paying attention to the clouds above me, I missed out on some alligator action nearby me. Realized it after it got too dark for pics.
I think it’s OK to have your head in the clouds from time to time. :+)
