“I’m sure they’re just sleeping…right?”
I took this photo earlier this morning of a Great Egret standing on a small bit of land in the middle of a marsh pond where two alligators were relaxing in the sun.

It amazes me how these birds just hang out next to the alligators.
Yes it is odd to see. Both the birds and the alligators seem to ignore one another.
