I previously worked as a news and sports photographer. Recently I have been enjoying wildlife photography. My approach toward bird photos is similar to sports photography. I attempt to capture mostly action and hopefully a unique perspective.

WOW! WOW! WOW! Amazing photos! I don’t see how you can take such beautiful shots, but I’m thankful you do and I’m so thankful you share them. Do you have to be on a stand or a deck or something elevated?! You certainly have an eye for lighting and a talent for getting the perfect shot. Keep them coming! We are loving them!!! Thank you!
Thanks very much for looking and for your very kind comments Carol! I’m so glad you liked my photos.
Sometimes I am on a bit of an elevated walkway but I often try to get photos of the birds flying low whenever possible.
Cheers, Phil 🙂
An excellent series, Phil! Well done!
I appreciate you checking out the pics Gareth and glad you like ’em!
Awesome stuff Phil! I don’t think the casual viewer realizes what a challenge birds in flight are….especially with nice backgrounds. Great set of BIF !
Wow thanks very much Ricky for your kind words and I appreciate you mentioning what goes into getting some halfway decent BIF shots! Thanks also for checking in here. 🙂
