“I Can’t Bear To Watch”

These two cormorants were cavorting about with each other recently while their friend looked on.

Finally, after several minutes of the pair’s public display, their friend couldn’t take it any more…and just shut his eyes…

    p.s. How bif lenses do u use with these birds?500,600? Theya are heavy,do u use tripod?Could u tell me which exposure do u use to catch the bird flight so sharp? 1/500 , 1/800 or more? I am just curious:)

      I use a 300mm lens with a 1.4 extender for most photos. I try to keep the shutter above 1000 (usually 1600) for BIF shots.
