Down The Hatch!
This morning we watched several brown pelicans fishing in the marsh pond. They can be very entertaining to watch. When they fish, a pelican hits the water with a huge splash and looks like it was just tossed out of a moving vehicle. But their fishing style works quite well for them as you can see…down the hatch goes the fish for a nice morning snack!

Simply love these shots. But I’m wanting to ask a favor… you mentioned a meteorologist friend and I’ve been getting questions about whether some of the wild waves I’ve been shooting indicate incoming storms. My guess would be… sometimes, though not always, since I’ve had some of my favorite wave shots without any storms before or after. Any chance of getting together for a guest post on this topic somehow?
Hey Gunta, thanks for checking out these pelican pics and glad you like them.
I’m not sure how I could work out any type of guest situation with my meteorologist friend but I can keep it in mind.
Other possibility is an answer to the question about whether wild waves on shore are always related to a coming storm. If you erase it after reading, my email address is guntabATgmailDOT com
