“Hey Watch This!”
Last week we were watching some brown pelicans fishing in the marsh pond. This one guy seemed to be showing off his flight technique to his friend who was watching attentively in the background. The flight instruction must have been successful because soon they were both flying, diving, and splashing around for fish.

These guys are such goofs. I love watching them and they don’t seem to be a bit shy of humans.
They are very goofy birds, and for the most part totally ignore me, which is the way I like it. 🙂

There could have been a lesson taking place here. These were both young pelicans so they might need to practice flying and fishing techniques. 😀
