Fantastic, as usual. I think my favorite is the head on shot of the white pelican, but I love the detail showing the underside of the wings of the great egret. You never cease to outdo yourself.

  Thank you very much Gunta, I am so happy you enjoyed these photos. The egret does look nice with it’s large wings out like that, and although they are fairly common here they are an immpressive bird.

    Normally we only get the egrets here in the winter months when our pastures turn into winter lakes. They are not as common during our dry summers, though I’ve seen a few along the rivers.
