I previously worked as a news and sports photographer. Recently I have been enjoying wildlife photography. My approach toward bird photos is similar to sports photography. I attempt to capture mostly action and hopefully a unique perspective.

Interestingly, I was checking back in my files and last year 2012, I have no spoonbill photos at all after Sept. 1st.
But back in 2009 I have spoonbill photos taken on Nov. 29 and it was really cold then. Hope some stay around that long this year.
