A Scratch, A Fluff, And He’s Ready!
Yesterday afternoon I was watching this bald eagle that was sitting in a pine tree along side the salt marsh. At first he was mostly just looking around surveying the scene with an excellent view from high atop his perch. Quickly though the eagle began to get a bit restless, he scratched, he fluffed, and then I knew he was ready… but for what?
Tune in tomorrow to see what the eagle did next. 🙂
Eccezionali Phil, sono super meravigliose!!
A domani 🙂
Ciao, Pat
Grazie Pat! 🙂
Suspens. I want that tomorrow come soon to know
See you tomorrow 😉
Thanks! Hope to see you here tomorrow! 🙂
For sure!!!
Merci beaucoup de votre visite ici Sophie 😀
Oh! That fluffing has to mean sometihng. Will await “why”! 🙂
He is fluffed and ready to jump out of his tree. You’ll see. 🙂
The beginning of a chase, perhaps?
He did jump off and swoop over the ducks, which has been his habit lately. 🙂
Ahhh, such fine and sharp detail. Experiencing some shooting envy here…. 🙂
The eagle deserves the accolades here, I just snap the photos. 🙂
You “just snap” the photos ?!? Oh well, alright : wow Phil, you’re GOOD at snapping photos 🙂 🙂 I’m with you, Gunta.
Yeah, or you could have said it’s just the equipment you use. I think I know better. 😀
Beautiful!
Thank you Deborah, glad you liked the eagle pics!
It looks like he’s eyeing your snacks.
How did you know I had snacks?!?
This face is priceless 😀
He does have that kind of a face doesn’t he?! 🙂
Doesn’t he look royal ? And intimidating !
He looks like he doesn’t take any grief from anybody! I’m just happy he is OK with me occasionally being around. 🙂
You really captured the majestic looking of the eagle, Phil!
I’m very glad you liked the eagle photos Amy, thanks!
Super! Thank you dear Phil, Happy New Year, love, nia
Thanks you very much Nia, great to see you!
You are welcome dear Phil, I have been dealing with influenza 🙂
My goodness.I saw the result before the preparation, but either way, both photo sets are terrific. That third photo’s a killer. He looks precisely like someone hatching an evil plot!
Ha ha! He sure does! Looks like the evil villain in a crazy cartoon movie!
You normally show us the regal side of this beautiful bird, Phil. Lovely to see him looking fluffy!
I was lucky to be ready with the camera shutter button when he went all fluffy on me, I don’t see that often I can tell you. 🙂
Thanks a bunch Maggie!
Amazing pics again, Phil. 🙂
