I previously worked as a news and sports photographer. Recently I have been enjoying wildlife photography. My approach toward bird photos is similar to sports photography. I attempt to capture mostly action and hopefully a unique perspective.
Hahaha. I could not see the mockingbird from my vantage point. He clearly looks annoyed with the mockingbird.Great photographs Phil! thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks a million Vicky, so glad you liked my pics of this nice looking youngster!
Speaking of mockingbirds, did you ever see this post from almost exactly one year ago? 🙂

Oh my goodness Phil! I did not see that post before. Thank you for showing it to me! We have had mockingbirds nesting in our yard for the past 2 years and they are unmerciful to our 2 labs. We kept many of our yaupons and last spring in April, when the cedar waxwings came through, they love to feast til there are no berries left. Well, Mock stayed at the top of the tree and would not let them feast. So my photos were of the beautiful waxwings and of course, Mock, on the highest branch protecting his territory.
