Great Blue Heron Jumps Off

Yesterday afternoon I was watching this GBH sunning himself along the edge of the marsh when he abruptly decided to jump off and head out across the water. I guess wanted to go join his friends that were fishing over at the far end. Or… he saw some other heron he didn’t like and felt compelled to chase it off. Either case is entirely possible. 🙂

  I use a 300 with a 1.4 extender attached making it a 420.
