I previously worked as a news and sports photographer. Recently I have been enjoying wildlife photography. My approach toward bird photos is similar to sports photography. I attempt to capture mostly action and hopefully a unique perspective.
The fact that it’s hot and sunny almost every day from May through Oct. is I suppose what brings the tourists in for the beach. They come at other times too but those are mostly the only times we locals would go near the water. 🙂
I thought you’d taken my photo from my desktop, Phil. They must be brothers. 🙂
I think they do have a large extended family. 😀
Oh, this is very cool! I suppose it’s seriously hot in Fl now?

That looks one happy guy!
I guess he looks about as happy as he’s going to be, I know he would be more happy with a crunchy crab in his mouth.
He might like a certain dentist to munch on.
If that dentist was standing next to me he just might get an ‘accidental’ shove into the waiting jaws of our (hopefully) hungry alligator friend.
Yes, these guys do look awfully relaxed floating around on a hot day, don’t they?
They are experts at looking cool and relaxed on a hot summer day. Better than me I can tell you. 🙂
He does look content .. for the moment! Until he spots a snack perhaps!
When you really have to watch out is when he is sneaking around *under* the water. That’s when the surprises happen! 😮
