Two Minutes…
It took just two minutes for this alligator to glide out from the shade and straight into a single small patch of early morning sunlight in the salt marsh last week.
Once he hit the light he seemed to almost disappear into the golden water that looked almost like molten metal.
Those are great great shots. The contrast between the first two and the third. Love that tail …… and under he goes!
It funny how parts of him started to disappear. He eventually went totally under the water presumably to look around for a while. Or to nap. 🙂
Molten metal is a great description!
Hey thanks! Occasionally I come up with a description that makes some sense.
Stunning. You have described it so well.
I greatly appreciate that thank you!
How I love these sunlit water shots of yours, Phil! The contrast in the water when the sun is on it is just so beautiful!
Occasionally both the sun and the animals cooperate, I like it when things work out. 🙂
