Practicing…
Earlier this week, trying out your best standing on one leg routine seemed to be all the rage over at the salt marsh.
I’m giving the win on this one to the egret.
The ibis gets points for effort, but didn’t have the technique down perfectly.
The great blue heron looks like he ‘thinks’ he should win, if only factoring in his coolness factor.
But the egret had the most style I thought and deserves the first place prize.

I concur with your prize decision! Beautiful bird.

Awww. The egret photo is gorgeous with the wind blowing the feathers. Looks like a it’s wearing a fine gown.

All just beautiful in their own way but the exquisite plumage on the egret has the edge, I think!

Although often under appreciated, style sure helps in many situations. The alligators for instance always look good. (I kind of have to say that)

I vote the Egret, too. The Ibis needs a bit more practice. As for GBH, he just looks a bit stiff and stuck-up.

I believe the blue herons think more highly of themselves then even the alligators which can be much more laid back. 🙂
