Afternoon Get Together
It was unseasonably warm today so we decided to head over to the swamp and see who might be out and about.
Well, it looked like three large turtles and one small alligator had reservations at the same table for a lunch time meeting.
It’s always pleasant to be able get outdoor seating when the sun is shining on a wonderfully warm January day!

What a great dose of sunshine, on a cold day in England!
We haven’t had winter yet but it’s threatening to get colder in the coming days.
Sun can be rough when taking photos like this though. Dark subjects 100% back lit by bright sunlight is a killer. 🙂

Seeing this post as well as the New Year’s Day post made me so happy. I have always enjoyed your images as well as your comments. I was afraid you were ill or even something worse! Thanks for getting out there and then posting. I hope yu are able to do more of these “treats” in 2019.

2018 was a tough year for me but things seem to be looking up and I hope to be out getting more wildlife photos in the coming weeks and months. So glad you enjoy seeing them!
