This Is Art
No, not the photos, the Egret. It’s Art Wade a local ambassador for the Great Egret contingency. He showed up a few days ago to check in and make sure everything is in order over at the salt marsh. Art seemed mostly pleased in spite of one Great Blue Heron that was kind of annoying. But the heron was a juvenile, so you know, kids…

Such great pictures, Phil! Art makes an excellent ambassador. No doubt he consider a youngster beneath his attention.
He was pretty funny, he found a nice spot to sit for a while and look around, then took off for aerial inspection. Actually, now that I look back on the situation, I strongly suspect he may not have been pleased with the behavior of a boisterous group of brown pelicans. It’s always something.
Well, there goes the neighbourhood!
Thank you. Beautiful and oerfect

Thanks for checking these out and I’m glad you liked the photos of the head egret in charge!
Look at those greening lores. It’s another sign of spring, when even boy egrets begin entertaining thoughts of love!
