I previously worked as a news and sports photographer. Recently I have been enjoying wildlife photography. My approach toward bird photos is similar to sports photography. I attempt to capture mostly action and hopefully a unique perspective.

Amazing sequence. Great way to compare size. But the advantage definitely goes to the eagle given the beak and talons. You have some utterly amazing shots. I might have to make the time to dig back into your archives… perhaps when the rains come.

They actually ran this whole series on our local ABC TV News. I just took the video right off the screen so the quality is fairly awful but you can get the idea. They gave the photos a 45 second spot which is kind of amazing considering what advertising time must cost.
