Mink Photos
I previously worked as a news and sports photographer. Recently I have been enjoying wildlife photography. My approach toward bird photos is similar to sports photography. I attempt to capture mostly action and hopefully a unique perspective.

Oh my goodness, how cute is he? I can only imagine how hard it was for you to track this little critter down. You must have infinite patience to capture this wildlife.

He really is cute isn’t he?! I do spend some time waiting and hoping the little critters like the mink pop out and give me a photo op. Thanks for looking and commenting!

They look as lethal as the gators. And that fish is nearly as big as the mink!!

Yeah these little guys don’t fool around! He took off into a den with that big fish. I wonder if it was all for himself or was he feeding a family? 🙂

OMG, they are cure. Why would anyone want to kill them for fashion?

I know. The fur looks a thousand times better right on the animal where it belongs.

Oh my goodness! These photos are gorgeous. They’re some of the cutest mink pictures on the Internet :). I love the red highlights in this mink’s fur and the way he looks so intently at this obviously-not-weasel-proof body of water. Where were the photos taken?

Well thank you so much I’m thrilled you enjoyed these mink photos! I have so many more I really should get them posted.
These were taken in the coastal South Carolina area in and around salt marshes.
Thanks very much for looking!

Wow, that’s cool. So many people think of minks as living in northern areas but I figured this was somewhere down south with all the other fauna. It would have been super awesome if that were an Everglades mink because the Everglades mink is a threatened subspecies. This book is about a Maryland mink: http://www.amazon.com/Vision-mink-American-woodland-tales/dp/B0006ARU0W
