Osprey Flights

Today I thought I would go with a few recent osprey shots. It’s always exciting to see these birds flying above the marsh ponds hunting for fish. Their level of concentration is intense and their eyesight is amazing. We had one hit the water near where we were standing and the splash it made was HUGE!

She was able to get close enough to take a couple of great pics. She posted them on Facebook. You would’ve enjoyed them. Photography has been her distraction from her chemo treatments. I think you would’ve liked her shots. Not nearly as fancy as yours, but still very cool. 🙂

Stunning pics…I live close to a place where people gather with their big cameras as migrations happen for some reason in this area…They even have a bird station where they catch and tag the birds while flying North or SOuth!!!
