I previously worked as a news and sports photographer. Recently I have been enjoying wildlife photography. My approach toward bird photos is similar to sports photography. I attempt to capture mostly action and hopefully a unique perspective.
Earlier this fall I watched this great blue heron glide along just above the marsh pond. Look who is visible in the background peeking his head up in the water. 🙂
Un vero spettacolo le tue foto, magnifiche !!
Ciao, Pat
Grazie! Spero che hai avuto un buon Natale!
Absolutely wonderful, love the one with the wings up:-)
Hey I’m glad you liked these GBH shots! 🙂
Wonderful images, Phil.
Thanks very much Mike glad you liked them.
Mr. A is just pretending not to notice the feathered jet fighter that just went by. 🙂
That bird was on a mission and was not about to let Mr A interfere.
Mr (Ms?) GBH sure looks determined. A bird on a mission.
That gbh does indeed look determined while Mr. A appeared relaxed. But of course with him you never know.
I agree, a bird on a mission.
The GBH is often a very serious bird. Imagine if they were as goofy as the spoonbills?!? 😆
Amazing and the parallel to aerodynamics is obvious. Lovely post as ever!
Hey thanks a bunch I really appreciate that and glad to know you like the GBH photos! Well and of course our good friend Mr. A!
Love Mr. A .
Oh well sure, you gotta love Mr. A!!! 😀
Looking Good! Thanks Phil
Thanks very much for checking these out and glad you like them!
Love the pictures of a favourite and the way Mr A is determined to have his moment in the limelight, as well!
Mr. A. of course! 😉 How’s he doing?
