Egret Fishing Late Evening

  1. Even though it is always a mistake to attach human emotions or feelings to a non-human animal, the fixed stare of a fish, especially in this predicament, always evokes an empathy for its plight. Beautiful capture, Phil…and Egret, too.

  2. How many times have we said wow – I have always said I prefer your landscape style bird shots but this journalistic image describing the life and death struggle of nature – it is simply the food chain – but close up it is more than that death for the fish is life for the Egret – the last swish of the tale, the last breath. I know I’ll be quiet now 🙂 a cracker full stop.
