Nice Day For Fishing
Earlier this afternoon I spotted this alligator fishing in the salt marsh. Alligators don’t live in salt water but they will visit on occasion if they get the idea that all the nice tasty fish must be there.
In the third photo you can see the big guy under the water with his mouth open and there are several fish swimming right above him.
Just as I was leaving, he came over to say hello which I thought was rather nice of him. 🙂

Nice day for fishing…..but not for swimming ( unless you are the alligator).
I personally decided to stay out of the water and leave both the fishing and the swimming to our big friend here. 🙂
He looks so happy in the first photo. Amazing on those little fish, love that detail. And he looks fabulous in that last photo. 🙂
He is not only a real looker, but has a great personality. 🙂

He’s a good boy although somebody must not like him. He has a good size gash on the right side of his back. Must have had a disagreement with somebody.

How friendly! I can’t believe he took the time out to say hello. Fabulous shots – I like how the light reflecting off of his scaly skin makes it appear purple in the first picture.
Well he is that kind of a guy! Never wants to leave without saying hi to me. Or…maybe he is just waiting for the day when I stumble like a clumsy oaf and tumble down into the water to join him.
