Light Breakfast

I spotted this GBH spiffing himself up in the marsh this morning and thought maybe he already had breakfast and was doing a little after meal clean up.

But he quickly went right back at it, and about two minutes later had snagged a light continental breakfast. Our little fishie friend, however, did not seem at all pleased with how his morning was going.

    • Thanks for checking this out. Funny how fast the splash happens and you don’t really think about it or notice it much until looking at it later in pictures.

  1. Your pictures have such beautiful quality and clarity, love the splash and the droplets and ofcourse the heron, what kind of camera do you use??? or lens, if you care to share that with me, I’ve been trying to get that kind of quality and sharpness with all different types of lens and cameras, and still cant seem to get it, and its been years…!!!!! Thanks Phil

    • Thanks a bunch for the kind words Linda, I appreciate it.
I now use a Canon 7D MK II and prior to that the regular original 7D.
      I mostly use a Canon 300 f4 often with a 1.4 extender attached.
