Morning Catch

An anhinga out fishing in the marsh this morning. I saw this guy catch several fish in a short period of time.

He really hit the seafood breakfast buffet hard and had to be quite full by the time I left him!

    I was watching Undercover boss Canada on one of our digital channels here in Australia and they briefly showed a lake I saw a bird that looked like an Anhinga.

      It could have been, and from what I understand they are more commonly referred to as “darters” in Australia.
      Another fun fact… the anhinga is one of the only birds whose common name is the same as their scientific name.
