All In A Frazzle
This snowy egret got himself all fluffed and frizzied while walking among the oyster beds in the salt marsh yesterday.
At first I thought that maybe an oyster had Snowball by the foot, but no, once again it’s just a case of a snowy being a snowy.
They often get all in a tizzy over anything…or nothing.
Beautiful
Thanks much glad you enjoyed seeing the snowy.
Bellissimi e buffissimi scatti!!
Grazie Pat!
Nice shots.
Well I’m happy you liked the fluffy snowy, thanks.
But BOY! Can they ever dance, Phil! Great shot! π
They really are fun, active little herons! Thanks so much for looking and commenting I appreciate it.
He does look kind of ticked off.
Normally I see one or more getting all worked when in a group, but this guy had the whole place to himself. π
Beautiful contrast between the snowy and oysters.
Oddly, I have never seen any animal (alligator, raccoon, bird, anything) attempt to crack open and eat one of the oysters.
The little snowy has it going on — all over! They have such expressive plumage – and you capture it in such great detail. π
The contrast between the snowy and the background really makes it pop.
You really captured the character of the Snowy Egret…Great shots.
Thea said he looked as if someone had just blown him off a dandelion head! I love the tracery of those feathers!
