I previously worked as a news and sports photographer. Recently I have been enjoying wildlife photography. My approach toward bird photos is similar to sports photography. I attempt to capture mostly action and hopefully a unique perspective.
An egret heads out over the water while an alligator glides over to say hello.
The warm setting sunlight nicely lit both their eyes, and the entire marsh area this evening.
oh that is an amazing image of the Egret, cheers Callie
Hey thanks a bunch Callie, so glad you liked these!
you are always taking amazing images just don’t get a lot of time to see them all
Well I greatly appreciate you checking in whenever you can. 🙂
Love both of these – that beautiful evening light you get highlights them both perfectly!
Thank you Maggie, we had a ton of wood storks out there too last night and I got similar flight shots of some of them but just haven’t been able to go through them properly yet. 🙂
Amazing captures, Phil! 🙂
Thanks very much Sylvia I appreciate it. Still waiting for those pink guys to show up, they are late and annoying me tremendously.
Patience is a virtue, Phil. 😉
Yes I’ve heard those rumors. 😀
Their eyes *are* bright. Great captures. Both have such complimentary backgrounds!
Thanks and glad you liked the backgrounds on these as well. I try to always be aware of that aspect. 😀
Both great shots
Thank you, glad you liked seeing these two.
Yes, its my favorite time of day out there. 🙂
Yeah the light and background for that white egret are so lovely! I like the water patterns around the gator…looks so tangibly…..fluid!
Well thanks much for the kind words and glad you liked these shots!
Love your action shots, the detail you captured is just amazing…The gator shot is so visually eye-catching.
He is a healthy good looking guy that gator! 😀
