“I’m Coming, I’m Coming!”

A great blue heron heard his friend calling from the other side of the salt marsh this afternoon and rushed over to see what was going on.

  1. Hi, Phil! Your blog’s always been interesting, but I sort of drifted off. Now, with a brand new Canon DSLR and a couple of lenses (including a telephoto) I’m suddenly interested again in your subjects! I’ve already found a couple of creatures I’ve never seen, including a pied-bill grebe, and I’m really thankful for your archive as well as your current offerings. I just spent a wonderful hour browsing — to paraphrase the old saying, “So many birds, so little time!”
