I previously worked as a news and sports photographer. Recently I have been enjoying wildlife photography. My approach toward bird photos is similar to sports photography. I attempt to capture mostly action and hopefully a unique perspective.
Over at the salt marsh this morning we heard a big splash behind us. We turned just in time to see it was a brown pelican who was making another huge splash leaving just as fast as he arrived.
Just dropping by! Someone who likes to makes a spectacular exit as well as an entrance!
Nice moment captured.. Lots there for splashing.
Wonderful capture, Phil. 🙂
They are show offs aren’t they.
Are you okay phil there hasn’t been any pictures of our bird friends for two months.
Hoping all is well with you guys…….
Phil, my mother and I miss your beautiful photos and colorful descriptions soooo much!!! I like to think your work is in such demand that you don’t have time to post. We are concerned, though. Please let us know how you are. Thank you so much!!!!
Way to stop the action, Phil. Great capture! Hope all is well with you.
Just checking back to see if you have posted some great action shots. Hoping you are well.
We’re missing you Phil, are you ok?
Phil – sincerely missing your updates from your beloved salt marsh. Hoping you are well and back on the grid soon. Best, Babsje
Hope everything is alright with you, dear Phil and that you are just having a break from blogging.
