I previously worked as a news and sports photographer. Recently I have been enjoying wildlife photography. My approach toward bird photos is similar to sports photography. I attempt to capture mostly action and hopefully a unique perspective.
An osprey lifts off from the marsh pond after missing a fish on this attempt. Ospreys are hard workers though and this one will quickly be back circling the area in search of a meal.
Beautiful color. And seriously nice bokeh.
Thanks George, glad you liked it.
Beautiful sharp shot… the dripping droplets gives a feel of flight 🙂

Phil, this is beautiful!! I have to admit that I have a hard time photographing birds in flight. I’m not very good at tracking! I love the intensity in the face of this osprey. Magnificent creatures 🙂
Sometimes the birds make it easy and other times not so much but it is fun.
Thank you for looking and commenting I appreciate it!
Pleasure 🙂 Thank you for the great photos!
