I previously worked as a news and sports photographer. Recently I have been enjoying wildlife photography. My approach toward bird photos is similar to sports photography. I attempt to capture mostly action and hopefully a unique perspective.
An alligator lunges up out of the salt marsh after some fish earlier this week. He seemed to be very focused on the evening’s seafood menu which was good news for some of the nearby birds!
Thanks a bunch!
Foto splendida come lo sono sempre le tue. Però caspita, mette paura brrrrr
Potrebbe essere un po ‘paura, ma lui è un ragazzo divertente!
Definitely would stay out of this guy’s way…
I have found that if I stay out of the water at these times it generally turns out best for everyone. 🙂
Plus I don’t want to get my camera gear wet. Canon would probably charge more then the hospital ER. 🙂
My – what big teeth you have!! Excellent capture
He does have a nice size set of choppers!
Terrifying😬😳😳😳….great capture, Phil!!
Awww… he’s just a big teddy bear. 🙂 glad you liked the shot.
Now I know what a fish feels like! Brilliant picture, Phil!
I would not want to be a fish and have that big open mouth coming in for me. Glad you liked this Maggie!
Great shot. Hope he had his barbecue. 😉
He seems to enjoy his meals right from the ocean with no grilling required. I prefer my food prepared a bit more. 🙂
Happy Memorial Weekend to you Phil! What a mighty, fierce portrait of our adorable, gentle-looking Mr. A (clearing my throat)! I tell you, you’re so good in putting him in the best light ;).
He does all the work I just take the picture. 🙂
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
Fantastic capture, Phil. 🙂
Thanks very much Sylvia!
Great shot. I love the water detail under his lower jaw.
He does tend to gulp a lot of water (and mud) with each plunge. Glad you liked this alligator pic!
Looks like you were so close! He does look really hungry. Beautiful colors! Love this guy!
Oh yeah I was close, but he was only interested in fish and crabs, not me. 🙂
Glad you enjoyed seeing the big guy!
