Surprise Guest Appearance
Well the Snowy Egret Convention took place this morning in the marsh, but I’m not sure this was the wisest choice for a guest speaker.
Some of the attendees seemed more then a little surprised and possibly disappointed. Plus, I suspect that whoever was in charge of that portion of the event just might have some explaining to do!

Hilarious! I just burst out laughing. “Not only is he painfully boring…he’s completely out of touch.”
This looks like a case of where the speaker is half asleep but the audience is totally alert. Could be a first! 🙂
As long as he wasn’t there for the free buffet, then it could be worse.
Luckily he had already eaten so he was only there to put in an appearance, collect his fee, (that could be trouble) and head back to his room.
He sort of looks like he could care less if they were there — and to think they were expecting a special speaker. 😉
Those snowys may not have gotten what they paid for with this special appearance. He looks uninspired to say the least.
They do look a bit disconcerted and undecided on what to do about the turn of events!!
It’s like they are all looking at the other guy to make a decision.

I think these snowballs will all just stand around and look, and sound annoyed until the unwanted guest leaves the area.

Whoever was in charge of booking this year’s guest will likely be out of a job. Or… just maybe this was exactly the excitement this event needed! Eh… probably not. 🙂

Oh yeah, he is very likely toast. I mean, wasn’t a nice pink spoonbill available for booking?!?
