I previously worked as a news and sports photographer. Recently I have been enjoying wildlife photography. My approach toward bird photos is similar to sports photography. I attempt to capture mostly action and hopefully a unique perspective.
Two juvie spoonbills jump off and leave the salt marsh earlier this week, while two adult spoonies remain behind to watch the departure.

Scatti rosa affascinanti. Bellissime foto, complimenti!!
Ciao, Pat

Thank you Sophie, glad you liked seeing double. 🙂
We have seen the injured spoonbill and he seems to be doing fine, the wounds appear to be healing nicely.

That’s great to hear Charlie, it’s what I really try hard to do, not just come up with photos, but hopefully a little story to go along with them. Thank you.

Thanks a million Linda! Yes we were quite happy to see our injured pink friend doing well and his wounds which originally concerned us seem to be healing better then hoped for. 🙂

Spectacular lift offs, Phil. The two ‘left behinds’ look a bit envious that their friends are going off on vacation. 🙂

They do look a bit forlorn over being left behind, but maybe they think there is still tasty fish and shrimp to be had so no need to rush off early. 🙂
