“Don’t Mind Me, I’m Just Passing Through”
A wood stork had pulled a huge mullet out of the salt marsh during low tide and was struggling to get it down when this egret came strolling through the scene. Notice how the egret totally ignores Woody who looks like he would prefer nobody bother him while in the process of trying to enjoy dinner.
Sembra passare altezzosa, come a dire ” ma chi se me frega di quello che stai facendo” 😀
Splendido scatto Phil.
nessun uccello che non si preoccupa affatto di nulla. ha un bel atteggiamento. 🙂

Thanks for checking this out.
What a nice blog, I love the the page flows, this is so great and educating. big up
Hey thanks! I appreciate that very much.
That’s a very big dinner for the wood stork! Egrets are so elegant, and this one is obviously quite well-mannered too. 🙂
He does look very well mannered doesn’t he? He reminds me of the host at a fine dining restaurant.
Woody, well… he just wants his dinner.
I love the studdedly unconcerned look on the egret’s face! Too sensible to take a chance on the stork’s huge beak!
Yes that egret knows better then to mess with Woody at dinner time.
Geez! I do like Mr. Egret’s nonchalance … but I was wondering how Woody got that huge meal down his gullet without gagging!
The funny part is that wood storks are large birds yet I almost always only see them eating tiny things.
This time ole Woody has himself a nice meal!
Great capture of these two elegant birds.
Thanks I appreciate you checking them out.
Beautiful Bird, and a great capture, your pictures always amaze me…
I’m happy you enjoy them, thanks.
Best to leave him alone I’d say.
Yes indeed that is usually the best plan.
