One Last Look
Early this morning I spotted an osprey sitting in a tree along the edge of the marsh.
I took a couple of shots as I approached but within minutes the osprey took off and left the tree. He swung out wide and banked hard right then came soaring in right towards me. He flew directly over my head taking one last look at me before heading off toward the ocean.

It’s good you could orchestrate that flyby to put that camera motor of yours to good work. You don’t miss much.

I tried to sneak up a little closer on the osprey to hopefully get better shots but these guys don’t miss much that’s for sure. Wish I had their eye sight. Of course then my photos would probably look worse.

They are a lot bigger bird then you might think seeing them flying above. I had one hit the water right in front of me and it made quite the huge splash! 😮

The sky makes him look cut out, the image is so crisp. Love it. You really got him great this morning.

It was funny because we had a mix of light blue and grey skies and when he jumped out and circled around he was against the light grey sky which gave it that look. Thanks very much for looking and commenting!
