Quick In…Quick Out
Yesterday afternoon this bald eagle came swooping in from the far side of the salt marsh and landed in a pine tree at the edge.
The eagle wasn’t there but a few seconds when he took off again heading out on a mission across the marsh.

Magnifica, veramente maestosa. Bellissime foto.

He was on a time schedule too I think. Often one will sit around in a tree forever but not this guy.

Great photos! It’s always nice to have that blue sky in the background. The sky has been gray for way too long!

Yes indeed, great to see some blue sky! Bad news for the coots though, those eagles will need more food.

Great action shots…Photo 2 and 3 are just superb. Love the complexity of the backdrop for shot 2.

It’s always a thrill for me to see one of these big guys come gliding in and then just as quickly a few wing flaps and the eagle is gone again.
