Dropping In On Friends
Yesterday evening this wood stork came swooping in from somewhere out in the salt marsh and made a dramatic entrance.
Of course, after all that, he just ended up standing around looking…well maybe ‘cute’ isn’t the exact best word, but you know. 😀

Molto bella questa serie di scatti.
Ciao, Pat

Wow thank you so much for looking in here and commenting! It’s funny how things go out there, sometimes I can get all kinds of stuff in 10 mins, other times I stand around forever hoping for something, anything, to happen. But that’s the fun in it too. 😀

Love the landing, Phil. It almost looks as though he’s screeching to a halt. No, I also wouldn’t think that cute is the right word, although I did once hear ‘cute’ defined as “ugly but acceptable.” 😀

I will resist passing that saying along to our alligator friends. I suspect they think of themselves as cute and desirable. 😀
Wood storks are something though.

Indeed, cute is probably not the word; still I do so enjoy seeing them. You really got some great shots.

I love the “Well, I’m here, now what?” look on the face in the the last photo!

That’s so true. I did forget to mention in the write up about how tiny the snowy egret (in the third photo) looked in comparison to the stork.
