What IS going On Here?
At first, this snowy egret appeared somewhat perplexed to find himself in among a group of American Avocets at the marsh this morning. And the avocets did not seem to know what to make of the egret either.
Bet then, a minute later, the avocets moved over a bit and something caught their attention because suddenly everyone was looking in the same direction.
Who knows what has attracted their attention!
Nice group photo dear Phil.
Ciao, Pat
Forse stavano guardando l’alligatore?
These are beautiful photos, Phil. That water was like glass in the first photo!
Thanks a million, glad you liked seeing this quiet moment in the marsh!
“I’m sure I saw …”
“Where, where?!”
Avocets are such lovely birds. The British Avocet is the logo for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, here in the UK.
Wow what a great logo! I love the avocets, just wish we saw them more often, they rarely visit anymore.
They are all beautiful birds.
I really like the avocets, such elegant little birds. Sadly, they have become fairly uncommon in our area.
Love your cliff hanger, you are such a great story teller.
I appreciate that Charlie, thanks very much! 😀
#1 “Whose got the channel changer?” #2 “Thanks Egret. Now we can watch the film”. RH
Perfect! Terrific caption! Thanks much. 🙂
Love this little group. And those reflections. 🙂
They are a nice looking and such well behaved little group, love these guys!
Mr. Gator lurking about?
He was nearby but behaving himself. 🙂
