I previously worked as a news and sports photographer. Recently I have been enjoying wildlife photography. My approach toward bird photos is similar to sports photography. I attempt to capture mostly action and hopefully a unique perspective.
This afternoon we had a cute little mink pop his head up out of the reeds at the edge of the salt marsh and scamper around for a bit.
Always great to see these guys, they remind me of skinny cats running around out there!

They have such cute little faces, I like the way they stand up on their hind legs like the meerkats do.

Now I have actually seen one of these on Spynie Loch which is a small loch close to where I live which is a wildfowl location – must try the big lens out there
