Afternoon Spoonbills in the Marsh
We had several Roseate Spoonbills show up in the marsh yesterday afternoon.
As is often the case, they were once again following along a flock of close to one hundred Wood Storks.
It’s always fun when our pink friends come to visit and brighten up the our day!

Stunning shots, Phil. I love to see Spoonbills and yours are spectacular. Great to see you again. Happy Fall. 😃

Glorious pictures, Phil! Those colours are stunning! So glad to know you and Alyce are ok, I was very concerned about the effects of the last hurricane to blow through your way. All best wishes to you both!

Hi Maggie. Thanks so much for looking and replying to these spoonie pics and glad you liked them.
I did get your very kind and thoughtful email as the hurricane was approaching, it was greatly appreciated.
Long story short about the hurricane…we emerged mostly unscathed from that. We never did evacuate.
No major home damage, no flooding, no down trees out back, and we never lost power. But so much has happened since then unrelated to the storm. I’ll get a reply to your email out soon.
