“Hey! Look What I Caught!”
This morning a great egret plucked itself a nice fish out of the salt marsh and proceeded to walk right over to me to show off his catch!

Everybody’s got a fish story. Only this guy can’d exaggerate — you’ve got it all on film.
His story will have to be about quantity rather then quality. He actually did this twice while I was standing there.

It wasn’t luck, I checked his breakfast schedule for the day and knew when he would be dining, and just showed up. 😉 😀

They come too close too often believe it or not. Today I had a spoonbill fly toward and I swear I could have reached out and grabbed his leg as he flew over me. I was quickly choked with too much glass.
