Standing Tall And Alert
This great blue heron remains on alert at the edge of the marsh pond as the afternoon winds down. The late day setting sunshine highlights him rather well…
I previously worked as a news and sports photographer. Recently I have been enjoying wildlife photography. My approach toward bird photos is similar to sports photography. I attempt to capture mostly action and hopefully a unique perspective.

Che primo piano fantastico, sei un vero portento Phil 🙂

Definitely heron approved. Just when you think it couldn’t get better, the setting sun makes it better.
