Spring Wild Flowers
People are often after me to branch out and try something a little different from the usual birds and alligators I normally post. Flowers were a consideration, so with that in mind, I thought this nice array of colorful wildflowers growing along the edge of the marsh pond might make a welcome and pleasant change!

You weren’t kidding about the flowers! Thankfully they don’t obstruct the view!

These big dopey reptiles have a lot of nerve, photo bombing my flower shot! 😡

A little change is always good, but somehow I don’t envision you switching to a macro lens and doing close-ups of the flowers.

I think you are right about that Mike, and I can’t even borrow Lyle’s macro lens because he sold it. 🙂

Those are lovely. Even younger Mr. A looks spring-like here! 🙂

He looks a little sleepy but that’s what happens on a warm spring day when you are daydreaming among the flowers.

Should have tucked one of the flowers behind Mr A’s ear…… does he even HAVE ears???

Good question about the ears, I pet the cat between the ears not sure where to pet Mr. A.
The only thing he wants to see in the flowers is a cute little bunny rabbit.

Even with the title, I first notice the alligator still – but of course those are lovely flowers indeed 🙂

Thanks Jan, and good point, I should think about showing more overall environmental shots.

We should all have his life. He lays around in the sun all day, eats whatever he wants, and nobody messes with him.
This boy has it made!

Your title didn’t sound quite like you, Phil. Did you notice Mr A sneaking past, whilst you were concentrating on the pretty flowers? 😀

What?!? There’s an alligator in that photo? 😮
Just double checked and by golly you’re right! Leave it to Mr. A to photo bomb my flower shot.
What a smart aleck he is! 😀
